He awoke. The minds of millions across the void were filled with His presence. Some screamed their joy and spread the word of his coming, whilst others clawed out their eyes, unable to bear the Light.
“I am, again.”
His voice rippled across the void. His mind followed in its wake, seeking His faithful. Across millions of worlds in thousands of galaxies he witnessed their deeds, saw the influence of their faith. His name was whispered in back alleys and praised in temples. One place called to him. A newer realm, His faithful had just begun to spread His word. Recognizing the familiar minds of some of His chosen, Mortis smiled.
“Go forth, my children. Spread word of the Light. May those that love us, join us. And those who refuse will serve to hone our skills. I am with you, always” He whispered.
